Hello! I'm Jeanna Paden. I'm a writer and educator with a passion for helping new writers improve their craft and refine their poems, stories, and essays. Through my critique service, I will help you develop your creative writing into something publishable. I'll ask you the right questions, make suggestions from a reader's perspective, proofread, and give you the tips I've picked up from writing and publishing myself.
My degree in creative writing, my experiences as both a reader for a literary journal and an editor for a publishing house, and my passion for helping people have equipped me with the skills to provide quality feedback for new writers. Critique Pricing:
Pricing can vary depending on the project and length, but for the most part, these are the prices you can expect:
I accept payments through PayPal or the Cash app. I’ll critique your story first and ask for payment when I’m ready to return the piece to you. I return critiques via a Google doc, Word doc, or in the body of an email, whichever you prefer.

- Poetry: $5/page
- 1-10 page story/essay (double spaced): $10/story
- 11-25 page story/essay (double spaced): $25/story
- For any piece that doesn’t meet these specifications, please email me with the page count and genre, and I’ll be happy to give you a quote.
